Saint Helens
On the trail to Spirit Lake we stopped and took this picture next to a tree uprooted in the eruption of 1980.

These trees were knocked down in the blast. They looked like fallen toothpicks.

Mt. Saint Helens in in the center. It was a very cloudy day so we did not even get to see the whole of the mountain.

Iron Creek Campground in Gifford Pinchot National Forest (surrounding Mt. Saint Helens National Monument). We camped one night here. Beautiful campground that was practically empty. Yea for us!
