     The Saga Continues: Humans and Nature Living in Harmony?

     Friday, October 7, 2005 began like any other quiet evening. Rather abruptly, one ordinary evening was interrupted.

      Our entire family was in the family room; Jeremy, Amy, Katy and Sandy.  Sandy and I were shopping for Harry Potter merchandise with Katy standing over giving lots of directions.  Jeremy was practicing his movie editing skills on his computer.  Then it happened.  

     A brown blob dropped from the top of the fireplace to the ground.  I saw it fall.  "Oh my god!  Look over your shoulder", I said to Jeremy.  But how could I believe my eyes?  Did I see what I thought I saw?

     Jeremy looked around but he didn't find anything.  

     Then he saw it.  A brown mouse running!  It ran into the subwoofer where Jeremy shook him out.  Then he ran to a good hiding spot.  And now we cannot find him.

     Have you ever seen a mouse climb a fireplace?  Well, I have (scroll down).
