This is a photo from when we first bought the house in 2000.  The boarder around the room contained pink apples and baby blue squares.  Yuck!

Shortly after moving in, we painted over the boarder. 

Here is what our kitchen looks like now.  The walls were painted a dark, dusty green.  The cabinets were painted a light taupe.  New flooring and a dishwasher.
