Pegleg Restaurant and Amy’s Birthday

The Peg Leg Restaurant Open on Sunday, Sept. 16

Sandy came up with a great name for a restaurant: The Peg Leg! To mark the end of the swimming season, we’ll have a pirate fest and a day on the water. I’ll post the menu soon.

Yule Celebrations in 2006

Last year was our first year of celebrating Yule rather than Christmas. We let the kids open most of their presents on Dec. 22 then had them open the rest on Dec. 25. This year, we’re holding our Yule festivities on Saturday, Dec. 22. The girls will open all their presents on this date.

A Look Back…

On our way to Glendive, Mont. from our home in Spokane, Wash., we traveled through Yellowstone National Park. It was hot during the day but at night it got down to freezing! We didn’t know that until we woke up the next morning and looked out our tent.

A Look Back…

In 2001, Randy and Deb took us camping up to Yokem, Wash. I don’t really remember how we got there (I must have been sleeping). But the road was primative and we weren’t sure if we’d make it up the mountain. After our camping trip, we celebrated Sandy’s second birthday.

A Look Back…
